Longevity Therapy
Stay Steady. Move with Confidence.
Longevity Therapy helps you protect balance, coordination, and walking mechanics so you can stay active, independent, and confident — whether you are recovering from injury or surgery, managing age-related changes, or working to prevent falls.
Start Longevity Therapy
Longevity Therapy is a focused physical therapy pathway that improves how your body senses position, activates muscle, and walks from one step to the next. At CSOG Physical & Occupational Therapy, care is physician-aligned with Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, so your plan can connect directly with your broader orthopedic treatment when needed.
Proprioception (Balance) Rehabilitation
Proprioception is your body’s ability to sense joint and limb position without relying only on vision. After injury, surgery, swelling, or immobilization, that feedback can fade — affecting balance, coordination, and confidence with movement. Balance rehabilitation uses progressive exercises to retrain stability and body awareness.
Neuromuscular Re-education
Injury or surgery can disrupt the timing between your brain, nerves, and muscles. Neuromuscular re-education retrains those movement patterns so muscles activate more efficiently. Therapy focuses on coordination, posture, balance, and safer everyday motion.
Gait Training
How you walk affects load through the hips, knees, ankles, and spine. Gait training and analysis help identify inefficient or uneven walking patterns and guide corrective exercises so you can walk more smoothly, with less strain and better stability.
Who Longevity Therapy May Help
